Great guy...so much fun! I remember riding with him in his (I think) yellow VW convertible on River Road in South Corning. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing and send my sincere condolences to his family. Sally (Shaddock) Matthews

Tom and I grew up living next door to each other on Steuben street. We spent many winter mornings walking to school till he got a driver license and could drive. Most of the conversations were always about cars and mechanics or something to do with mechanical theory. It does not surprise me he became a mechanical engineer, That was his calling from the get go.One other note Yes Tom could talk over my head on mechanical knowledge but I never admitted it to him.
