David L. Miller, 68, of East Syracuse, passed away Monday at Crouse Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Coming, NY and has resided in the Central NY area since 1979. He graduated from the University of Buffalo with a degree in geology and went on to study for his masters. He retired from the Visual and Performing Arts College / Syracuse University as a computer consultant. He previously was employed by Ikon and Miller Brewing Co. for many years.

Dave was an avid golfer and enjoyed music. He was a lifelong Yankee fan and Patriots fan. He loved to be with his family, friends and cats.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah 'Murphy' Clark; two daughters, Lisa (Adam Morley) Hinman of Baldwinsville, Kelly (Tony) Lanzafame of Rochester; five grandchildren, Shannon, Shelby, Erik, Sam and Victoria; his step daughter, Lauren Murphy; stepgranddaughter, Taylor; two sisters, Norma Rojas of San Diego, Patricia (Gary) Pease of Corning; his nephews, Michael, Brian, Brandon, and his niece, Jessica.

His wake will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Delaney-Greabell-Adydan Funeral Home, 241 Kinne St., East Syracuse.
