James “Jim” Paul Reynolds, age 64, of Elyria, OH died Monday, April 5, 2010 at home. Jim was born April 5, 1946 in Buffalo, NY. He is the son of late Paul and Mae (Scardato) Reynolds. He married Doris Palmer on May 24, 1966 in Caton, NY.
Jim was employed by Whitcomb Ford in NY and Car Dealership in Elyria, OH as a Sales Manager. He was a member of the Pine Valley Baptist Church while living in New York, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Elyria, in Elyria, OH. Jim was also an avid NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his wife: Doris (Palmer) Reynolds, two daughters: Brenda (David) Mayo, Diana (Kurt) Brown, and Six Grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Jim was predeceased by his brother, John Reynolds.
Calling Hours will be held Saturday April 10, 2010 from 10am to Noon at the Maple Ave Baptist Church in Elmira, NY with a service to follow. Burial will be in Rural Home Cemetery in Big Flats, NY on April 10, 2010 at 1:30pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baptist Church Planters 36830 Royalton Road, Grafton, OH 44044.

Jim was a quiet sports car guy that was always calling with me as what was best way to get more powerout of the little engines his sports cars had. Hard to explain as he had 100 horsepower and I was used of making 400,but over all jim was a good friend and i will always have good thoughtsas a class mate and Friend.
