I knew Jim Day from 4th grade in elementary school.  He was in Mrs Plummer's class.  Jim Kirk, Marjorie Sales, Greg Bell, Dita Vaughn, Brian Mourhess and Leonard Mahood were also in that class.  The school building on Jennings and Flint Ave was torn down long ago.

Jim Day was also in Explorer Post 51, led by Jim Farrell, photographer for the Corning Leader, and went on at least 1 of our great camping trips to Canada.
