Obituary of Ronald Crane

Ronald E. Crane, age 73, of Corning, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at home.  He was born on June 19, 1945 in Corning, the son of Harry and Vera Walker Crane.  He married Darlene O. Trickett on November 6, 1967 at First Baptist Church of Corning.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Darlene, sons, Daniel Crane of Corning and Ronald E. Crane Jr of Penn Yan, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brothers, David and James Crane, and several nieces and nephews.  Ron was predeceased by his sisters, Laura Harter and Sylvia Crane.

Ron was a veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam era, he worked as a Corrections Officer in Attica, he was a cab driver at Vet's One in Corning, and he was a bus driver for AIM.

It was Ron's wish that there be no formal services.  Burial will take place at Bath National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

I've known Ron since the 3rd grade at Severn School he was always a  nice and quiet person . I believe I ran  into him once since 1965 and we had a nice conversation. 

Please know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. My sincerest condolences for your loss.
