Ron Olinger passed away Monday, March 6, 2023. 

Ronald Paul Olinger

Ronald Paul Olinger, age 75 of Puyallup, WA/Kansas City, MO/Corning, NY passed away March 6, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife Lori Ann (Auxier), children Brian and Mandy, grandchild Cooper, and parents Wilbur R. and Sarah (Minso) Olinger of Corning, NY. He is survived by his children, Heath (Shelby) of Mount Pleasant, SC; Kevin (Rosie) of Auburn, WA; Alicia of Puyallup, WA; Shane (Jessica) of Roundup, MT; and Cameron (Ashley) of Puyallup, WA; and eleven grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, Alda, Angel, Tyler, Adrian, Lucas, Chance, Wyatt, Emmett and Hollie.

Ron graduated from Corning-Painted Post East High School in 1965. After graduation, he joined the US Air Force where he served proudly in the Vietnam War, and met his future father-in-law Monty (Bob) Auxier. He and Lori were married in August of 1971 and by 1972 had moved to Kansas City, MO where he worked for Frontier Airlines. In 1981 the young family moved to Puyallup, WA near Lori's parents and he had a long career working for the US Navy.

Ron was a dedicated husband and father who worked tirelessly to provide for his family. In retirement he was able to be more supportive of his church family at Experience Church in Puyallup.

Ron will be honored at Experience Church and laid to rest alongside his bride at Tahoma National Cemetery on March 24th, 2023.

So very sorry for your loss.  My thoughts and prayers go out to all of your family.  I met Ron our Junior year at EHS.  He was a quiet, handsome guy.  I was glad to see him at our 50th. reunion.  May he rest in peace.
