Comments:
After high school, I attended Georgia Tech in Atlanta, where . in April of 1966, I met Carol, my wife of 47 + years. After graduation from Tech in 1969, and learning I was going to be drafted, I enlisted in the Army for officer candidate School and was commissioned a Military Intelligence Officer in 1970. Carol and I loved military life, and I was lucky to never see a day of combat in my 27 year career. Today, we have two great sons and a total of nine grandchildren. Life is good!
After retiring from the Army, carol & I settled in South Florida where I was a high school JROTC Senior Army Instructor for 9 years, a Curriculum Specialist for 3 years and then, in 2009 we becamea full time retired couple. Understandably, our lives now revolve around vacation adventures and trips to visit as often as possible Carol's family in NC and the families of our two sons.
